I thought our club was too soft on books until I counted our ratings from 2024
I went back through our shared spreadsheet for the 11 books we read in 2024 and found that our club gave 9 of them a 4 or 5 out of 5, which made me think we were just being nice. Then Priya pointed out that we picked most of those books from the same 3 bestseller lists, so of course we liked them. Should we try a month where every pick has to come from a random shelf at the library instead?
