Shoutout to the lady at my first book club who called me out for talking too much

Back at a meetup in Denver five years ago, she just said 'let someone else finish a thought for once' and I didn't realize how much I dominated the conversation. Has anyone else had a moment where someone's blunt honesty actually helped you listen better?
