The day I realized I was reading the wrong chapters first in my book club...

I used to just plow through novels from page one, but last month I started reading the final chapter of our book club pick before anything else. It totally changed how I saw the clues and character arcs leading up to it, like I was solving a puzzle instead of just following a story. Has anyone else tried skipping around in a book and found it made the discussion way more interesting?

Wait, you actually read the ending first on purpose? That's wild, I never even thought about doing that with our book club books.

Man that's actually called reading the final chapter first. It's a thing.

My friend @wadejenkins actually got spoiled on a whole mystery series doing this exact thing.
