A guy at the Tucson plant sale told me my pothos cuttings were rotting because I changed the water too much
I was changing the water in my propagation jars every 2 days like a maniac until he showed me his 6 week old cuttings sitting in the same cloudy water with fat roots, saying the hormones build up and fresh water just restarts the clock.

My buddy did the same thing, swapped his water every other day and his cuttings just sat there doing nothing for weeks. He finally got lazy and left them alone in gross water and boom, roots everywhere in like 10 days lol.
