Hit 200 native plant species on my yard list last weekend

I keep a running list of every native plant I spot on my small property in Louisville, and last Saturday I crossed 200 species after finding a patch of wild blue indigo I never noticed before. It took about 18 months of walking the same half acre every few days, plus checking the ditch line after rains. What surprised me was how many showed up once I stopped mowing a strip near the fence, like the partridge pea and some bluestem grass just appeared. Has anyone else hit a count that made them rethink how they manage their yard?

I mean, my yard list is basically just weeds and regret, so 200 species is honestly showing off.
