Warning: that old greenhouse thermostats are liars, trust the soil temp probe instead
My buddy Ray in Ohio insisted I ignore the wall thermostat after it read 72 while my seedlings sat at 58, and 3 days later his advice saved my pepper starts from damping off, so has anyone else found their greenhouse gauge off by 10 degrees or more?

my cousin out in Vermont had the same thing happen, his wall unit said 70 but his soil probe was screaming 55 and he almost lost a whole flat of tomatoes before he switched over. that thermostat was off by a solid 15 degrees, so yeah the probe is the only one you can trust.
