Why does nobody talk about taproot damage when transplanting seedlings?
I was snapping the main root on half my tomato starts during repotting in my garage and wondering why they stalled out for weeks. A guy at the Riverside garden swap told me to stop poking at the taproot, so what do you all do with leggy starts that already have one long root?
