Dude at the Kroger in Athens showed me his $31 cart for the week and I felt dumb about my $90 one
He had dried beans, rice, frozen spinach, eggs, and a whole chicken, and said he eats the chicken for three days then boils the bones for soup, which works out to about $1.10 a meal, so now I'm curious what everyone's actual weekly number is.

That $31 cart only works if you've got hours to soak beans and simmer bones, which most people don't after a 10 hour shift. Time is money too, and my $90 cart buys me my evenings back.
