Watching this thread go from cheap lentils to someone's fancy voice-activated night pee lighting in three comments flat. I mean, we really covered the full spectrum of human needs here, from beans to automated bathroom trips. Guess we solved both hunger and sleepy stumbling in one go. Priorities are looking... interesting.

Total game changer" is right, I read something similar about lentils being a solid swap for ground meat in stuff like pasta sauce. Kinda like how @white.pat's friend Sam figured out the light thing, it's those small switches that just make life easier.

Yeah, total game changer is right. My buddy Sam got some smart lights last month and it changed his whole thing. He used to always get up to pee at night and have to fumble for the switch, but now he just tells the room to turn on a dim blue light. He says he barely even wakes up fully anymore.
