Found a $3 tool that replaced my $50 travel steamer
I was sick of lugging a garment steamer through hostels in Tokyo last month. Picked up a cheap spray bottle from a 7-Eleven for 300 yen, filled it with hot tap water, and spritzed wrinkles out of my shirts before hanging them up overnight. Anyone else ditch the gadgets for simpler fixes on the road?

Man you just described my whole travel hack collection. I ditched my steamer after I started wetting a washcloth in the bathroom sink and tossing it in the dryer for a few minutes.

Ha yeah that's a solid move honestly. I tried the washcloth thing once but my hotel dryer was one of those weak ones that barely gets warm so I ended up with a damp shirt and wrinkles still lol. @mitchell.thomas you ever try the shower steam hack? I just hang my clothes on the shower rod and run the water hot for five minutes while I brush my teeth. It's not perfect but it works way better than the washcloth thing if the dryer sucks. Plus you don't have to run the dryer for like 15 minutes just for one shirt. That always felt like a waste of energy to me but I guess you gotta do what works for your setup.
