Got charged $18 for a bottle of water at a hotel in Zurich and I'm still mad about it
Stayed one night near the main train station last week and the minibar water was $18. There was a Coop grocery store literally 200 feet from the lobby selling the same bottle for $1.20. I get that hotels need to make money but that markup is just insulting, especially when they know you're too tired to go back out. How do you all handle minibar traps when you roll in late somewhere?
