Dropped $45 on a used label maker at a garage sale in Boise, now I'm questioning my whole system
I grabbed a used label maker for $45 at a garage sale in Boise last month, mostly as a joke, and then ended up labeling every shelf and bin in my pantry. Now I actually know what's in the back of the cupboard before I buy a third bag of rice, and my grocery runs have gotten shorter and cheaper. But my partner thinks the labels are clutter and swears a simple list on the fridge would do the same job for $0. Is a one-time $45 buy worth it if it cuts food waste, or is that just me dressing up a list with extra steps?
