My backpack got soaked at a campsite in Asheville and my whole bullet journal turned into a brick
So last month I went camping near Asheville with some friends and it rained way harder than anyone expected. I had my bullet journal in the front pocket of my backpack because I like to jot stuff down by the fire, and of course the pocket wasn't waterproof. By morning the pages were fused together, the ink had bled everywhere, and my monthly log looked like a bad watercolor painting. I tried to peel the pages apart and just ripped half of them, which honestly hurt more than losing the actual notebook. I had 6 months of habit trackers in there, plus a bunch of notes from a work project I was tracking with a simple grid. Now I keep my journal in a ziplock bag inside my tent, and I also switched to a smaller notebook for trips so I don't lose as much if something like this happens again. The bigger thing I changed is I take a phone photo of each spread at the end of every week, just in case. Has anyone else lost a journal to water or fire, and did you rebuild it or just start fresh?
