That Monday I glued a drawer to my own pants
Last week I was rushing to finish a birch cabinet before noon pickup. I grabbed the Titebond without checking the cap, squeezed, and it shot straight down my thigh. Within 30 seconds my jeans were welded to my leg and the drawer front was stuck to my knee, so I hobbled around the shop like a crab for 10 minutes trying to find the mineral spirits. Finally got free but left a big glue smear on the drawer face and had to sand and refinish the whole thing. Anyone else ever glue themselves to a project in a way that took longer to fix than the original build?

...and honestly the crab walk was the smartest part of my whole week. I did try the quick yank first, but my brain shorted out and I just stood there tugging at my own pants like an idiot. Ten minutes of hobbling and a sanded drawer face later, I learned that Titebond respects no deadline, so now I always check the cap twice before the glue gets within three feet of my crotch.

That "crab walk" image is killing me, but what I really want to know is how long you kept the drawer front attached to your leg before you even tried to peel it off. Did you actually attempt to pull it free first, or did you go straight for the mineral spirits like a pro?
Because I've made that mistake where you panic and just yank, and suddenly you've got a bigger mess and a bruised knee to deal with. Sounds like you had the right instinct, even if the timing was brutal.
