Dropped $300 on a power stretcher I swore I'd never buy
Always used knee kickers for residential work until I did a 20-foot wide living room last month and my knees gave out halfway through. That one job was enough to convince me, has anyone else made the switch later in their career?

Isn't it funny how we'll fight our own bodies before admitting we need better tools? I swear that's half of learning any trade, waiting until something breaks before you actually listen to what works.

Idk @cora_west5, maybe it's just me but I feel like sometimes fighting with your body actually teaches you something. Like when you push through with bad form for a while you really understand why the right tool matters. It's not always about breaking, sometimes it's about learning the hard way on purpose.

It's wild how we do this in every part of life, not just work. We'll ignore the check engine light for months until we're stranded, or use the same dull knife forever until it slips and we cut ourselves. There's something about waiting for the breaking point before we finally accept what we already knew. That $300 stretcher probably taught you more about your knees than any knee kicker ever did.
