Sat on my knees for 3 years before a guy in Reno asked why I wasn't using a knee kicker on stairs
Turns out I was muscling every stair nose by hand like an idiot when a $20 tool would've saved my knees, and now I'm wondering how many other basic tricks I skipped because nobody showed me.
Man, I felt this in my soul. I did the same thing with a stair tool for way too long, just smashing my knee into the nose and wondering why my legs ached every night. The knee kicker is huge, but also grab a tapping block and a pull bar if you don't have them, because those two plus the kicker turn a whole staircase from a two day curse fest into an afternoon. Also check your stair nose pieces before you start, some of them need to be glued and some just float, and getting that wrong is the real thing nobody warns you about.
