The bookkeeper in Mesa told me she pays herself on the 15th no matter what is outstanding
I called to nag about a $3,200 bill that was 60 days out and she let that slip in about ten seconds. Do you pay yourself on a set day even when customers still owe you?

Waiting on late payers to pay yourself is how you end up not getting paid at all. A set payday keeps the lights on while you chase what you're owed.
