Just realized some people think 'unlimited revisions' means they can change their mind forever

I had a website project for a bakery where the owner kept asking for tiny tweaks (like moving a picture 'two pixels left') for six weeks after I thought we were done. I finally had to point to the line in our agreement that said three rounds of changes, which she said she 'didn't really read.' How do you guys make your revision limits super clear from the start so this doesn't happen?

Sounds like that bakery owner wanted a custom website, pixel by pixel. Maybe next time put the revision limit in a giant font right above the signature line. Some clients only see what they want to see.

Right? "Some clients only see what they want to see" is the whole job. Had a guy ask for 12 rounds of tweaks on a logo that was just text. My contract might as well have been invisible.

That line about clients only seeing what they want to see is so true, and it goes way beyond contracts. I see it all the time with terms of service or simple instructions. People skim, find the part that sounds good to them, and just ignore the rest that doesn't fit their plan. It's like a filter.
