inHail damage left my sliding door looking like a spiderweb
Consider how you clean a big glass surface. Many folks use too much pressure and cause streaks. For example, on my patio door, I spray cleaner directly and wipe in circles, but that leaves marks. Instead, try a zigzag motion with a squeegee. Have you found a method that works better?

inOkay, debate time: for my short story pitches, I've got a plain email template (it's quick) but everyone tells me to jazz it up. Your thoughts?
Hold up, people are putting graphics in pitch emails? I picture some editor opening an attachment and a dancing cartoon book starts singing at them. That's a sure way to get your idea deleted before the chorus. A plain text email says you respect their time and your story is strong enough on its own. Adding glitter just makes it look like you're hiding a weak idea.

inBought a highly-rated camp stove that almost caused a fire last weekend.
Ugh, I totally get where you're coming from with the ratings thing, but a scary one off experience really sticks with you. It makes you lose all trust, even if the numbers say you were just unlucky. You can't un-see a faulty product almost burning your house down. The ratings might help someone else, but they don't fix the fear it causes you. It feels like your own reality matters more than the crowd's opinion in that moment.
