Bought a cheap silicone basket liner for my air fryer and it was a total waste
Spent about $12 on one of those flimsy silicone mats that's supposed to fit in the basket. Tried it with some frozen fries and it blocked all the air flow, so they came out soggy and pale. I had to take the whole thing out and cook the fries directly on the rack anyway, which just made more dishes to clean. Anyone have a better liner they actually like, or should I just skip them?

Air fryer kryptonite" is right... I've sacrificed more than a few chicken wings to that learning curve.

Tell me about it, I turned a whole batch of fries into sad little charcoal sticks my first week. Cora813 is totally right about them being kryptonite, you really have to leave space between everything. I learned the hard way that overloading the basket just steams the food instead of crisping it up. Now I do smaller batches and shake the basket like three times, it makes all the difference. Still mess up sometimes though, it's a process.
