Pro tip: screenshots saved my bacon on a scope creep war
Had a client in Denver keep adding 'small tweaks' for 3 weeks until the invoice looked nothing like the quote. I tried nice reminders, a revised contract, even a phone call, but they acted like we never agreed on the original list. Finally I sent back a timeline of every email and every screenshot of their own messages asking for extras. They tried to argue but couldn't, so we settled at 80% of the added work. Anyone else keep a running screenshot folder for every project now, or am I the only paranoid one?
