Figured free updates kept folks happy, but after someone asked for change number twelve, I set a hard limit.

My friend ran a small game server and cut off suggestions after the tenth one. His most active players slowly stopped logging in over the next month. He learned that a closed door can quietly empty a room.

Setting such a hard limit seems like a good way to push your most engaged users away. Those twelve changes show people really care and are trying to help you improve. Cutting off that feedback loop completely might save you some hassle now, but it tells everyone their ideas don't matter anymore. You could end up losing your biggest supporters over it.

Wondering if the person setting the limit feels buried by the feedback, even when it's good. Like maybe they're stuck trying to please everyone and just hit a wall. What do you do when the suggestions are actually helpful but there are just too many to handle without feeling overwhelmed?
