My old boss in Phoenix told me to stop fixing things for free, and it hit hard after a client cussed me out over a $40 part
He said every free favor just teaches clients your time costs nothing, and now I flat out refuse to do "quick looks" without a written minimum. How do you all shut down the scope creep without losing the whole job?
