inMy home inspection app glitched and cost me a $450 deposit
Paper backups saved my bacon more than once. Got into the habit of printing out the important stuff and sticking it in a binder after I had a hard drive die on a Friday afternoon with a Monday deadline. Still use software for the day to day, but the critical stuff gets a hard copy now, no exceptions.

inI used to think T-posts were junk until I talked to a rancher out near Denton
Tie a short length of chain around the post about a foot up from the bottom before you drive it, lets the post bite into the clay deeper and keeps it from twisting loose over time. I saw an old timer do it once on a fence that's been standing since the 80s with zero sag. Dirt cheap fix that makes T-posts outperform wood in heavy soil.

inCan we talk about what happened at that barber expo in Chicago last month
Blended smoother than anything I'd done before" - see I actually had the opposite experience. When I tried trimmer first, I ended up with visible lines where the trimmer hit and the clipper didn't match up. Going clipper first lets me blend into the trimmer work better.
