She said it with a straight face last Tuesday after I sent a $4,800 estimate for a full kitchen remodel, and it hit different because I realized I'd been underselling for years just to keep people happy. Has anyone else had a client's casual insult trigger a real change in how you bid things?

So a client said one word and now your whole pricing plan changed? One person's opinion doesn't mean you were screwing up for years, maybe she's just cheap lol.
