A client in Tampa said my contract was 'too vague' after a scope creep argument
They pointed out a line about 'reasonable revisions' that didn't define a number. I changed all my agreements to include a hard limit of two rounds of changes per phase. What's a better way to phrase the revision limit to avoid pushback?

Oh man, @blairm77, that's so true. I had a handshake deal go bad once because we didn't write anything down. Getting every single detail in writing saved my sanity later. Your lawyer is spot on.

But come on, is a lawyer really needed for every little thing? Sometimes a simple agreement between decent people is fine. Writing everything down can make it feel like you don't trust the other person from the start. Not every deal needs to be a legal battle waiting to happen.
