Guy at a Denver print shop handed me a "deposit" check for $1,500 that bounced in 2 days
Met him there to drop off files for a $3,000 brochure job and he gave me a check on the spot, which felt great until my bank hit me with a $12 return fee. Turns out the account had $40 in it. Has anyone else had a client use a face to face meeting to make a fake payment feel legit?
