Serious question, I ran 312 parts before I finally checked my coolant concentration
I used to think refractometer readings were overkill for aluminum, so I just topped off with straight water whenever the level dropped. Last week I finally tested it and I was running at 3 percent when the book says 8 to 10, which explains the tap squeal and the rough finish on my last 300 parts. Anyone else running flood coolant way leaner than they should?
