Update: Our shop's new scrap metal sorting is paying off.
Recycling chips instead of trashing them feels like a real win.

Why do we ignore big waste but freak out over tiny bits? Those chip crumbs might seem nothing, but they add up fast in a busy shop. Sorting scrap metal shows that every little piece has value when you collect it all. Isn't it better to save all we can instead of picking what's worth the effort? That mindset change is what makes recycling work, not just for metal but for everything. We should apply the same care to food scraps and other waste streams too.

Seriously? People get upset over a couple chips left in a bag? It's like a few broken ones at the bottom nobody wants. We toss way more food from expired stuff in the fridge every week. But this is what gets people worked up?
