A Tuesday in March when my nested for loop finally clicked
Back in March I sat at my kitchen table in Omaha for 4 hours trying to get a nested for loop to print a little triangle of stars and kept getting a rectangle instead. When it finally worked I literally yelled and scared my cat, because I suddenly saw that the outer loop was the rows and the inner one was the columns. How long did it take you before loops stopped feeling like a magic trick and started feeling like a tool?
