Everyone told me to start with Python, but after 6 weeks of guessing what my code was doing I tried building a boring webpage with just HTML and CSS and could finally SEE my mistakes. Being able to open a file in Chrome and watch it change kept me from quitting, and now loops make way more sense. What did you all start with, and did it stick?
