Just realized my comic taste was shaped by my college roommate's shelf, not actual stories
My roommate in Austin had like 200 trades and I read whatever he owned for two years, so I thought I hated superhero comics until I picked up a Batman run at a shop in Dallas last week. Turns out I just hated the seven X-Men books he kept pushing on me. How many of you actually chose your own favorite series, or did someone else's shelf decide it for you?
