3 years of small flatwork, just got my first big driveway call

Back in 2021 I was doing little patios and walkways out of my truck in Spokane, barely breaking even on materials. Last week a property manager called me about a 2,400 sq ft driveway pour because they saw my name on a neighbor's slab I did last summer. Has anyone else had that moment where one random job suddenly opened a bigger door for them?

Just keep in mind that one job doesn't mean a steady stream yet, property managers swap concrete guys like tires. Make sure your contract covers extras like demo and disposal before you're in the hole on that driveway.
