Am I the only one who started wetting my mag float instead of fighting the cream?
Last Tuesday I was finishing a 24x30 garage slab in Boise and the cream kept sticking to my mag float, dragging the surface and leaving little ridges everywhere. On a whim I dunked the float in a bucket of water before each pass and it slid across the cream like glass, no tearing, no drag, and I got the whole slab cut in about 20 minutes less than normal. Has anyone else tried keeping a water bucket right next to them for the mag, or am I late to this one?
