PSA: poured a 12x14 slab in Boise last week and the mix came in too wet to finish
Ngl the driver showed up 40 minutes late and the slump was way over what I ordered, so I tried to stiffen it up with some cement and it flash set on me. I lost about a third of the pour to a cold joint right down the middle and had to grind the whole edge back the next morning. Honestly back when I started we just added water and nobody blinked, now it seems like every other load comes out soupy. Any of you ever get a batch that far off and did you send it back or just eat it?

That sucks, sorry you had to deal with that mess. I've had loads come in way too wet before and I just sent them back, better to wait than lose half your pour to a cold joint.
