I finally got my timeline buddy to see the pattern
After 6 months of back and forth about the JFK files, I sat down with a printed timeline and a highlighter instead of just linking sources. We zeroed in on the 48 hour gap between the autopsy and the Warren Commission's first closed session. I didn't convince him of some grand plot, but he admitted the sequencing looks off, which felt like a win. Anyone else had luck using paper charts instead of screens to get past the wall?

Funny you mention paper charts, my buddy and I had a similar breakthrough with the moon landing footage. Printed out still frames side by side, no screens, and he finally noticed the shadows go different directions. Took us an hour of just pointing at paper, but that click moment feels pretty great.

Heard a guy on a podcast say the same thing about perspective tricks.
