inPSA: I was crimping my RJ31X jacks wrong for a solid two years
Read a thing online where someone said reversed pairs can actually still pass data sometimes because of how the signal bleeds over in cheap cables. @johnson.eva might have the right idea about it being a long term troubleshooting nightmare, but two years is wild.

inHot take: sending a reminder email at 8am got me paid faster than any late fee ever did.
Did you try sending it right when they're grabbing their first coffee? I had a client in construction who always paid within an hour if I hit his inbox at 6:45am before his crew showed up.

inPro tip: Ran across a stat that 70% of cut flowers in the US come from overseas. Caught me off guard.
“4 billion stems a year” sounds like they’re trying to drown us in flowers. I guess it’s cheaper but yeah, feels weird knowing my Valentine’s bouquet probably has more air miles than I do.

inHad to choose between solder and wire crimps for a Yashica shutter rebuild
Toss that wire wrap stuff and get some proper silicone insulated 30awg with high strand count. The stiffness of solid core or wire wrap is what kills these ribbon repairs over time, not the solder itself.
