My uncle said something about the JFK files at Thanksgiving and I can't stop thinking about it
So my uncle Gary, who used to work for a defense contractor in Arlington for about 15 years, brought up the JFK records at Thanksgiving dinner. He said something like "kid, they release the boring stuff first and call it transparency" and then kept eating like it was nothing. I've seen a hundred docs about this stuff online but hearing it from someone who actually sat in those buildings hit way different. Now I'm wondering if I'm reading these declassified files all wrong, like maybe the gaps matter more than the pages. Has anyone here actually found a pattern in what gets redacted versus what doesn't?
