Why does nobody talk about the faked moon landing photos from the 90s?
I used to laugh at people who said the Apollo stuff was fake. Thought it was all nutjobs with too much time. Then last year I got into scanning old NASA archives for a side project. Found this batch of lunar surface images from a 1994 mission that had the same starfield background in every shot. Not similar, identical. Same exact pattern of stars and dust spots. I ran a pixel compare on 14 of them, all matched to the pixel. That should be impossible unless they were shot in a studio or layered in post. I dug for a week and found a retired contractor who worked on image processing for NASA in the 80s. He said they did retouch stuff constantly, mostly to hide tracking marks and film grain. But he admitted some frames were straight up composites because the originals had damage or lost data. So the skeptics got one thing right, but its not the 1969 flights people think. Its the later catalog updates. Has anyone else actually cross-checked these 90s archive files or am I the only one who bothered?
