inAppreciation post: That $15 antique journal I bought on a whim in Portland
Okay so I actually started doing the EXACT same thing last year and it really helped me get over my perfectionism with writing. I used to buy those fancy $10 journals and then get SO scared to mess them up that I'd never even open them. Now I just grab the 50 cent spiral ones from the grocery store and I can write whatever garbage comes to mind without caring if I make a typo or spill coffee on it.

inPro tip: cold water in your pie crust changed everything for me
Maybe it's the mineral content in the ice, not just the temp.

inSat in on a client meeting at a diner back in 2017 and it broke my whole system
Bro come on, coffee was still like two bucks in 2017 lol.

inHonestly thought my old camp stove was bulletproof until a trip last month
Devil's advocate here - maybe spending half a grand on a cooler just to keep ice for two days is kinda ridiculous when a $30 bag of ice costs like $2. Sometimes the simple stuff works fine if you plan ahead.

inWarning: I used to think a 15-minute facial was just a cheap gimmick until I saw the setup at a trade show in Charlotte.
Man, it really is. It's like those cooking shows where they have all the ingredients pre-chopped in little bowls. Yeah, the meal looks great, but you know your own counter is going to be a disaster zone with onion peels everywhere. The whole demo is basically a highlight reel, not the real game.
