The day a print shop in Reno saved me from signing a bad lease
I was at a small business meetup in Reno last Thursday when a print shop owner looked over the lease my landlord sent for my new spot. He pointed at a line that said I had to pay for any repairs over $200, even stuff I didn't break. I had already signed the first page, but he said to cross it out and write in a cap. I did, and the landlord actually agreed after some pushback. Has anyone else caught a sneaky repair clause like that before signing?
