Question about how fast a rough frame goes up when the lumber is actually straight
Framed a 1,400 sq ft ranch outside Tulsa in 9 days and I kept wondering why it felt so easy. Then I remembered the first house I framed there took 16 days, and the only real difference was the lumber yard. The crooked stuff in that first load meant every stud needed a shim or a fight, and I was cussing half the day. This last order was stacked flat and dry, and my nail gun never jammed once. Any of you got a yard that actually tarp covers their stacks, or is that just luck of the draw?
