Rant: a GC in Tulsa threw my 2 week old change order in the trash in front of me
I was standing in his trailer last Thursday going over a $2,400 change for added blocking when he just dropped the paper in the bin and said 'we don't do paper.' He made me resubmit it through their Procore portal that same day, and what do you know, it got approved in 3 days instead of the usual 3 weeks. Does anyone else's bigger GCs refuse paper change orders now, or is this just a Tulsa thing?

Sounds like the Procore portal actually did you a favor if it cut approval from 3 weeks down to 3 days. Getting mad about not using paper in 2025 is like getting mad the hotel doesn't have a fax machine anymore. The real problem here is the attitude, not the system.
