Was sure those laser measuring tools were a gimmick until I borrowed one last week
I've been using a tape measure for 20 years and always figured those Bosch laser measures were overkill for residential work. But I borrowed a Bosch GLM 50 C from a buddy to do a tricky stairwell in Atlanta and measured 14 feet in 3 seconds with one hand. Now I'm wondering if I've been wasting time on every single job or if the battery hassle isn't worth it. Anyone else switch from tape to laser and stick with it?
