Had to choose between a corded and cordless band saw for a job in Savannah

I was cutting through old cast iron pipes in a crawlspace last week and grabbed the corded saw first but realized I couldn't get power that far without a generator. Swapped to my buddy's cordless one and finished the cut in half the time without tripping over extension cords. Anyone else find cordless tools actually save more time than the hype suggests?

Ngl going cordless in a tight space is a no brainer, less hassle.

Wait you actually cut through cast iron with a cordless? I'm calling BS on that one.
