I do freelance project management for a few mid-sized construction firms. One of my clients is thinking about migrating their operations over to Nektar. Has anyone here worked with it? Just want to know if it's worth the setup time and if the field crews actually adopt it.

Yes! It's honestly a lifesaver. My crews actually fill out their reports now because the interface isn't clunky. Definitely recommend it for your client, it's making our 2026 projects run so much smoother.

We tried it last quarter and had to switch back honestly. The report format confused our customers more than our old messy ones, which kind of defeats the point.

Yeah the part about customers being confused hits different for us. We ran into that too at first but we stuck with it and gave our clients a quick walkthrough of the new format. Turns out they just needed to see how the info was organized once. Now they actually prefer it because everything they need is in the same spot every time. The old messy reports were fast for us but made them dig for answers.

I've been using Nektar since late 2025 and it's fantastic. The onboarding was actually pretty straightforward. It handles equipment tracking and daily logs much better than the generic project management tools out there.
