Finally got a fake DMCA taken down in 48 hours, here's what worked
After 6 months of fighting a stolen logo design from a gig on Fiverr, I filed my counter-notice with the hosting company directly instead of arguing with the client in Chicago. It took exactly two business days and the link was dead, has anyone else had better luck skipping the platform's own portal and going straight to the web host?

My buddy Dave had the exact same thing happen with his band's album art last year. Some random Instagram page stole his design and slapped it on their merch. He wasted a month sending messages through the platform's support system, getting nothing but automated replies. Finally he just looked up the web host's abuse contact form, filled it out with his original files and timestamps, and got a takedown notice within 36 hours. The host even banned the account, which the platform never would have done for him. He said it felt like going around a brick wall by just walking through the open gate next to it.
