Hit my 50th stolen project this month, still can't believe it
Logged everything in a spreadsheet since 2021. So far this year I've found 50 pieces of my work used without permission. 50. That's one every 5 days or so. Mostly small blog graphics and logo concepts, but last week a real estate site in Austin lifted a full branding kit I made for someone else back in 2022. The client who originally paid for it was cool about it, but the thief never even asked. I've done the whole DMCA route, sent cease and desist letters to three different hosts this month alone. Some take it down fast, others just ignore me. What number made you finally snap or start tracking seriously? I'm wondering if I need to raise my rates or just accept this is part of the game now.
