I compared a takedown notice to a DMCA filing and one was way better for getting my stolen photos off a site
Two months ago I found a Phoenix marketing agency using 6 of my photos on their site without paying, and my first move was sending a friendly takedown email directly to their contact form. They ignored it for 3 weeks, so I filed a formal DMCA with their host and the images came down in 4 days. Why do so many people still waste time on polite emails when hosts move way faster?
