Unpopular opinion: the 'watermark everything' advice is mostly garbage
Took me 5 hours last Tuesday to chase down a stolen logo mockup for a client in Boise, and the sad part is I had a small mark on the file the whole time. The thief just cropped it out in 2 minutes with a free tool. Watermarks only slow down lazy people, not real copycats, so I mostly use a written contract and a timestamped email trail now. What actually stops theft for you all, contracts or putting your name all over the work?
